Introducing the TraCS Wireless Communications Module: The TraCS Wireless Communications module, using MACH technology, allows TraCS Mobile to access all of the same functionality available in TraCS Office through a wireless connection. Login/logout, database search, and form check in and check out functionality can all be done from the laptop in a wireless environment.

And of course, since many jurisdictions don't have full wireless coverage, TraCS can transition between offline mode and online mode automatically without the officer even knowing. Any work done offline is instantly uploaded to the TraCS database as soon as connectivity is restored. If connectivity is still unavailable at the end of an officer's shift, a manual transfer of the information can be done through a USB drive, or it will be uploaded automatically when connectivity is finally restored even if a different officer from another shift is logged in.

With the Wireless Communications module, TraCS truly is the officer's desktop on the move!

Now Three Ways to Get MACH: MACH 2.0 is now available three ways from TEG: MACH Subscriptions, MACH Self Hosting, and MACH National Model. Whatever size public safety agency, there is a MACH licensing solution that's right for you.

MACH Subscriptions allows even the smallest agency to take advantage of the power of MACH. For a small monthly fee per computer, TEG can host the backend servers and databases for you, freeing your agency from the burdens of complicated IT related tasks. Simply install MACH and go.

MACH Self Hosting allows agencies with more than 100 computers to host their own MACH servers and databases. Self hosting gives your agency complete control over your MACH application and could be the right solution for your agency if you have the IT staff and resources to support it. MACH Self Hosting is a perfect option for county wide deployments to law enforcement, EMS, and fire or for large jurisdictions such as a metro city police department.

MACH National Model is a special license for National Model state/provincial members. Announcing MACH 2.0: The latest version of MACH is jammed packed with new features and performance increasing enhancements. Some of the additions to the fastest and most powerful version of MACH yet include:

> Bandwidth reduction of up to eight times of the last release of MACH
> Multi threaded processing for a snappier response of map functions
> Stealth mode
> Communications/Dispatch control of user statuses
> Addition of many new sub-statuses, transport types, and sub-session types
> User attributes that can be filtered on the map
> Advanced administration control panel for easier setup and maintenance
